It’s no secret that I’ve gotten Botox a few times. As a matter of fact I’m way overdue. So when a friend of mine wanted to know if I wanted to hit an open house for a new Esthetic’s Center I decided to go. They were running specials so I figured I’d pre pay for some Botox and be out of there in 10 minutes.

Well needless to say I didn’t buy any Botox units. Instead I signed up for BHRT. What exactly is that? Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. It caught my eye right away. The symptoms on hormone imbalance are me to a tee. Fatigue, depression, brain fog and a dozen other things. Take my money.

Last week I had my first appointment. First step was blood work. Then they make a hormone pellet that is designed just for me. Once that is done I go back in and they put the pellet in my butt cheek. There will be a small incision that won’t even require stitches. Just a few steri strips.

Am I expecting a miracle? Absolutely not. Am I excited to see if I have more energy and overall general well-being? 100%. I am looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
