Did you ever have one of those days that were so productive you have a hard time believing it yourself? I finally had one of those!

This morning started out with a doctors appointment for Addison. We are going to try a different med for her. One that doesn’t make her nauseous and give her headaches. I’m at the stage where I could stare at her all day. She’s changing and growing so fast. I think when it’s your last you realize it more.

I dropped her off at school and headed to work for a couple of hours. It’s amazing what a relaxing environment can do for your physical and mental health. I also picked out some gear to have embroidered with the Great Lakes Insurance logo. This might possibly be the best job out there.
Yesterday Brogan discovered water in the basement. Apparently our water line to the fridge sprung a leak. I went to Home Depot and bought a new line. I changed the line by MYSELF. Ok, 1 text to my favorite plumber but I did it. That is literally the best feeling in the world. #badass

I stopped and got gas at Sam’s. Of course it was raining and cold but I did it. I didn’t pretend to not notice and then mention it when I got home knowing Chuck would do it. I waited in line and just did it.
I picked up Addisons new basketball shoes from DSW. They took what felt like forever to come in and I’m pretty sure they are at least one whole size too big, but she likes them.

Now the eyebrows. I got Dysport (form of Botox) done on Thursday of last week. My eyebrows are definitely getting some height. I needed to get them threaded. If you’ve never done it you should try at least once. It hurts but damn it looks good and lasts for a long time.
I picked Brogan and his buddies up from school and took them to the gym. I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. The parking lot was insane. Patience is not my thing. It is adorable to watch these little men getting “gains” though.
Then last but not least, I came home and whipped up a chicken broccoli casserole. Chuck walked in the door with 3 minutes left on the timer. I by no means feel obligated to have dinner ready for him but when it works out it’s nice.
