Slowly But Surely

2 weekends left, max. We will be done with this bathroom remodel. I’m in love with every part of it. I bought the floor sight unseen and I was a bit nervous when I opened it. Thank goodness it looks great. I have to admit, as much as I wanted a bright color, I’m loving how it all came together.

The switching out of the toilet was an experience. I watched some YouTube videos and I prepared for a literal shit show. Once the old toilet came off there was scraping of the old was ring. I thing that was the grossest part. Of course I’m not 100% sure because I tapped out and went gagging in the kitchen.

I have to say the new toilet went on fairly easy. There was one late night run to Menards for the right size water tube but other than that it was uneventful. We had the old one out and the new one in, in one day. That is a record for us without a doubt.

I did learn this weekend that an oblong toilet is preferred if you have a penis. Round ones are a bit tight when you have to tuck your junk. Who would have thought?
