Trusting Gods Timing

Sometimes we need a reset. A day that we don’t have anything to do for anyone else. Tuesday was our reset day. My Husband could tell I was getting deflated and he decided to spend the day with me. Just us.

We started at a bakery called Sugar Mammas. It was so relaxing to just sit on their couch and share a blueberry muffin and a pumpkin roll. No hurry and no worries. We talked and we laughed and we ate.

So delicious

He then agreed to hit a thrift store with me because he knows that always cheers me up. We didn’t find anything ground breaking but I enjoyed the hunt. We were home in time for me to take a nap. Food, thrifting and a nap! Damn I’m a lucky woman.

I’m still on the job hunt. I had this pre conceived notion that they would be knocking down my door. I’m pretty damn fantastic. I found a job that sounded perfect. Absolutely perfect! Unfortunately in less than 12 hours I received an email that they are going to continue their search for someone more qualified for the position. It’s so hard to sell yourself when you get one line on an application.

I’m not giving up. I know that there is something out there that’s perfect for me. Until then I’ll just keep refreshing Indeed like a woman determined to rise.
