Absolutely Unacceptable

I was thinking the other day that it’s been awhile since I blogged. I had no idea it’s been 6 months. Obviously that it’s absolutely unacceptable.

Maybe I’ll start getting up earlier in the morning to jot down a few lines. Who am I kidding? The chances of that are about as good as me walking on that pricy treadmill I’ve got downstairs.

We currently have a junior with a broken collarbone that is still nursing a fractured thumb. A 24 year old that is looking to move into a more affordable rental with rental properties at an all time high. Last but not least a middle schooler that is full of hormones and radiates Bath and Body Works.

My lease is almost up on my car and I’m pretty sure I’m gonna get screwed by the dealer. I’ve already made a rookie mistake and told them I’m 8000 miles under my limit. I hate playing a game I don’t understand. I’ve got some serious research to do but I’ve got until November so right now procrastination is my coping mechanism.

The kids were able to sneak away with my mom for a couple of nights to Mackinac Island. I’m so glad they were able to figure out how to make it happen. Coordinating 3 kids schedules was no small feat.

We’ve ripped out all the carpet and have been living with just subfloor. It’s surprisingly not hateful. I’ve got the flooring picked out I just have to get there and order it. The problem is once it’s ordered it will come in. Once it comes in we actually have to lay it. Seems like more of a Winter project to me.
