Wednesday my sister in law got married. It was the most beautiful ceremony that I have ever witnessed. It was an intimate event, full of laughter and tears. Brogan had the honor of walking her down the isle. I really should have prepared better in the tissue category. I couldn’t help but remember him being 2 and chasing her around with a bugger on his finger. It feels like I blinked, and now I was watching him walk her down the isle. It definitely turned on the waterworks. It was the perfect day.

On the way to Costco yesterday we drove past Chapel Hill cemetery. There was the largest precision of cars I’ve ever seen. I mean every road into the cemetery was full. I have never witnessed anything to that magnitude before. I told Chuck that’s what I would want. I want all of the people. He laughed and assured me he would do his best.
Today Chuck changed Morgan’s brakes. He is such a trooper. It was an all day project but he wouldn’t have it any other way. I took her and Addison shopping. I swear I had seen that Old Navy was 50% off the entire store. The girls loaded up and when we got to the check out I had a minor heart attack. Apparently I was wrong about the sale. The sale is next week. Now I’ve got two bags to return and buy them again when they actually go on sale.
Of course one trip to Costco wasn’t enough for the weekend so I went back today. I bought the best sweet potato chips on Saturday and I wanted some more. Plus I needed to get chicken. I was walking past the clothes and I heard an older woman say to her husband, “I don’t care what you get, pick it out yourself. You’re a big boy!” I laughed out loud because I felt that shit in my soul. My husband does the same thing and it drives me bonkers.
We went to Meijer for a few things and I ended up with a $48 jackfruit. Damn sometimes I can not be trusted. Pretty sure Addie and I are the only ones that enjoyed it. I have no idea how long it’s good for but it was kind of fun.

I made a family dinner tonight which was nice. Nana came over, Morgan was here and Brogan and Kendra were home. Tortellini for the win. I put Boursin cheese in Raos sauce and you’d think I was a magician. It’s so easy and everyone loves it.
Got some blood work done last week and my liver enzymes were elevated. Funny thing is I don’t drink. Haven’t drank for 2 years. This week I am going to try and eat cleaner. Simple ingredients and less additives is the goal. I’ll be downing the water too. Whats that saying? “The solution to pollution is dilution.”
