When the kids are living their best lives….

Friday morning I had coffee with a friend. I love having coffee and catching up. It’s amazing how an hour visit can fill your soul and warm your heart. Friendships are definitely something to cherish.

Saturday all 3 of my kids were out having fun. Morgan went to a concert, Brogan went to homecoming and Addie was at a sleepover. I may not always agree with their choices but each one of them has a rebellious streak that secretly makes me happy. They are also pretty spaced out as far as age but they all keep an eye on each other. I hope their adult relationship provides a healthy, positive mindset when it’s time for them to put me in a home. Monday was my annual mammogram. I don’t care how many times I go there, I always get lost. I park in the wrong ramp and take the wrong elevator to the wrong building. All the while trying to look like I know where I’m going. Lord knows I should know by now. I already got the letter in mychart that everything is good. If you’ve been meaning to schedule yours but just haven’t gotten around to it do it today. It takes 5 minutes.

It is starting to feel like Fall. I really need to get out in the garage and do a purge so that I can park in there when the snow starts flying.

I bought a new foundation, Almay Smart Shade. Let me save you some time and frustration. It’s white. That’s right, when you squeeze it out it’s white. It doesn’t matter how many times you shake the shit out of it and try again it’s white. I didn’t realize until I went to wipe it off my hand that it changes color when it’s applied. What kind of sorcery is this? Would have been nice to know that before I wasted so much thinking Walmart screwed me again.
